6. Provisions on Executive Director

(1) There will be one executive director to act as the administrative head of the committee.
(2) The government of Nepal will appoint the executive director from among the doctors of the health service working in the field of human organ transplantation.
(3) The term of office of the Executive Director shall be four years (4) Notwithstanding anything written in sub-section (3), if the executive director does not fulfill his official duties or if he does any work contrary to the interest of the committee, the Government of Nepal may remove him from the position of executive director before his term of office is completed.
(5) According to sub-section (4) before removing him from the post of executive director, he will be given an opportunity to submit an explanation.
(6) The remuneration and benefits of the Executive Director shall be as prescribed.
