: (1) The Government of Nepal shall appoint an executive director on the basis of open competition from among the persons who meet the specified qualifications who are not involved in the foreign employment business to carry out the daily work as the administrative head of the board.
(2) Notwithstanding anything written in sub-section (1), the Government of Nepal may appoint at least a gazetted first-class officer to act as executive director for a maximum of three months until the post of executive director is filled.
(3) The term of office of the Executive Director shall be four years (4) The arrangements regarding the executive director's remuneration, service conditions and facilities shall be as prescribed.
(5) The work, duties and powers of the Executive Director shall be as follows:
(a) To implement, to carry out the decisions of the Board (b) To do other work as specified.
