(1) If the executive director does not fulfill his official responsibilities honestly or if his work is not satisfactory or if the council feels that he has engaged in bad behavior, the chief justice may remove him from the position of executive director before the end of his term of office on the recommendation of the judicial council. However, he shall not be deprived of the opportunity to submit his explanation before being removed from office.
(2) Notwithstanding anything written in sub-section (1), the action taken against the executive director appointed from the position of a custodial judge on the basis of bad conduct shall be in accordance with the law relating to his service conditions.
