Rule 6
Executive Director
: (1) There shall be an Executive Director to act as the administrative head of the Central Child Welfare Committee.
(2) The Government of Nepal may appoint or appoint a person who has experience in child welfare and child welfare work to the position of executive director.
(3) The term of office of the Executive Director shall be five years and upon the recommendation of the Central Child Welfare Committee, the Government of Nepal may extend his term of office for a maximum of three years.
(4) The Executive Director shall act as the Secretary of the Central Child Welfare Committee (5) The executive director's remuneration, facilities and other conditions of service shall be as prescribed by the Government of Nepal.
