5. Implementation and Monitoring Arrangements 5.1 The participatory method will be promoted by ensuring the involvement of stakeholders at the relevant levels (village, district, region, center) in planning, monitoring and evaluation of the agricultural sector from the local level to the central level. Information and data related to women, Dalits and backward classes will also be brought into the information system.
5.2 There will be a National Agricultural Development Committee at the national level to implement this policy by formulating plans, implementing and monitoring programs in a participatory and coordinated manner among agriculture-related agencies. . To support the National Agricultural Development Committee, there will be a Central Agricultural Development Implementation Committee at the Center and a Regional Agricultural Development Committee at the regional level. At the local level, village development committees and district development committees will be made responsible for plan formulation, implementation, monitoring and evaluation in accordance with the Local Self-Government Act. At the district level, there will be a district agricultural development committee and an agricultural committee at the village development committee level.
