(1) A person who is to be issued a diplomatic or special passport in accordance with the Act and these regulations shall submit two copies of the application form to the body as per Schedule-1 in the format as per Schedule-2.
(2) When making an application according to sub-rule (1), the following documents should be attached:-
(a) Original and copy of citizenship certificate or original and copy of national identity card if obtained,
(b) One copy of photograph as per Schedule-3,
(c) Letter of recommendation for issuance of diplomatic or special passport from the concerned body, (d) Certified copy of the nomination paper nominated by the concerned body,
(e) If a diplomatic or special passport was taken earlier, the original passport and its copy.
