Other functions, duties and powers of the Center shall be as follows:-
(a) To carry out seed certification and supervision through regional level seed testing laboratories for seed certification,
(b) To submit to the quality determination and arrangement sub-committee for the resolution of disputes related to the quality of seeds,
(c) To maintain records of quality certificates issued after verification by regional seed testing laboratories,
(d) Making it mandatory to keep a valid certificate for the sale and distribution of seeds (e) To impart orientation training to seed businessmen,
(f) Conducting examinations for granting licenses to crop inspectors, seed sample collectors and seed analysts,
(g) To keep a record of the permits issued by the committee to crop inspectors, seed sample collectors and seed analysts,
(h) train crop inspectors, seed sample collectors and seed analysts,
(i) To set the necessary conditions for the production of original seeds and to involve the private sector in order to develop and promote the species,
(j) To regulate the quality of seeds in the sale, distribution and export of seeds of Raithane and local varieties that have not been imported and approved, released and notified,
(k) To monitor the work of licensed crop inspectors, seed sample collectors and seed analysts and submit reports to the committee. (l) Supervise and monitor the seed testing laboratories and submit a report to the committee (d) keeping track of ownership rights granted to breeders,
(d) Keeping a record of the information given by the crop inspector and seed sample collector (n) To charge for services related to seed sowing,
(p) For the purpose of verifying the quality of the notified varieties approved, released and registered by the committee, making the crop inspector to inspect the crop,
