Section 30
Functions, Duties and Powers of Central Tehsil Office

(1) The central tehsil office shall be responsible for collecting the amount to be recovered from the responsible person in accordance with this Act and other prevailing laws and the amount to be recovered from the person who has not disclosed the amount to be paid in accordance with the agreement made with the Government of Nepal and the person who embezzled government cash and property.
(2) The central tehsil office shall have the task, duty and authority to collect any sums due in the central tehsil office at the time of commencement of this act.
(3) Except for what is written in sub-section (1) and (2), if the person who is liable to pay the penalty and fine according to the judgment passed by the quasi-judicial body or official using the powers granted in accordance with the prevailing law, fails to pay such penalty, the relevant quasi-judicial officer or the head of such quasi-judicial body shall The details of the penalty should be mentioned and sent to the Central Tehsil Office for recovery of the penalty and if such details are received, the Central Tehsil Office should also collect the penalty as per the judgment from the concerned person as per the details and deposit it in the accumulated fund.
(4) The central tehsil office may use the same powers as the court to take necessary evidence, make statements, produce witnesses, etc. while recovering the amount to be collected from the relevant person, institution or official.
(5) In case of non-payment of fines or non-payment of fines, other procedures to be followed in case of collection of such fees or fines shall be as prescribed.
(6) The Central Tehsil Office itself or another office may collect the levy of the assessment fee or the penalty. If the central tehsil office comes in writing to assist in the collection process, the concerned office should provide the necessary assistance.There will be blood.
(7) According to sub-section (3) of the penalty to be collected after the collection, the Central Tehsil Office shall give the details thereof to the relevant accounting responsible officer and the head of the relevant quasi-judicial body.
(8) Other work, duties and rights of the Central Tehsil Office and the procedures related to the unjustified charges and fees shall be as prescribed.
(9) If more than ten percent of the total cost of the amount to be recovered is recovered, the amount of recovery that is more than ten percent shall not be increased to ten percent or shall not exceed ten thousand rupees per person or organization, the employees, persons involved in the work of collecting undue recovery.
