In addition to the functions, duties and powers mentioned in Section 30 of the Act, the functions, duties and powers of the Central Tehsil Office shall be as follows:-
(a) To deduct the amount received for the above in accordance with rule 103,
(b) To withhold the salary, allowance, pension, gratuity of the responsible person in the process of collection of government funds and any amount to be paid by him and send in writing to the relevant agency to withhold the passport as necessary,
(c) In the case mentioned in this regulation, appeal in accordance with this regulation and in case it is not mentioned in this regulation, according to the prevailing law,
(d) The name of the person, firm, company or institution with the government balance amount, where they are registered, and update the balance amount every year and send it to the relevant ministry.
(e) In the process of collecting government funds, the person responsible or his/her property shall be searched and retained and sold by auction,
(f) To act as the secretariat of the Beruzu Fachhraut Committee as per Section 23 of the Act.
