Section 19
Rights of the fund
The fund shall have the following rights in relation to the mobilization of its balance and assets and the expansion of the scope of social security:-(a) To invest in debt securities of foreign or domestic organizations approved by the Government of Nepal or the Government of Nepal, (b) Cash of banks established in accordance with prevailing laws. Investing in certificate (Cash Certificate) fixed deposits, (c) Investing in cash certificates (Cash Certificate) fixed deposits of financial institutions established according to prevailing laws as deemed appropriate by the Fund, taking suitable bank guarantee, (d) Any industry under the guarantee of the Government of Nepal at the conditions and interest specified by the Fund. Giving loans to businesses or organized organizations, (e) Investing in the shares of banks and financial institutions, but when investing in shares in such a way, the investment should not exceed twenty-five percent of the issued capital of such banks or financial institutions. or joint lending with financial institutions on the basis of collateral division (paripasu) in accordance with the mutual agreement, (g) investing in debentures issued by companies or organized organizations established according to prevailing laws deemed appropriate by the Fund, but while investing in such debentures, such company or Investments should not exceed twenty five percent of the total debentures issued by the organized organization. (h) The fund may invest shares in the areas of energy production and transmission, agricultural development, tourism and major infrastructure construction promoted by the Government of Nepal or any entity owned or controlled by the Government of Nepal. (j) The fund itself or with other organizations to establish a company or organization to operate a collective investment plan (mutual fund) with the participation of employees and self-employed persons, (j) The fund shall operate a collective investment plan (mutual fund) with the participation of employees or self-employed persons. k) The fund will conduct housing projects by itself or with other organizations and sell and distribute the houses directly or in installments to the savers or in the restoration.(l) The fund can invest by itself or with other organizations in universities, teaching hospitals, medical colleges and other educational fields, medicine production, energy production, tourism, agricultural development, and (d) sell and distribute houses owned by the fund. or establish and operate a company or organization to operate a housing project, (d) construct and restore buildings on the land owned by the fund, (n) set conditions and interest on the guarantee of a bank or financial institution established in accordance with the prevailing law to a company or organization established in accordance with the prevailing law Giving loans, (h) Investing in the area deemed suitable by the fund by taking sufficient collateral or guarantee, (h) If the fund receives the equity of an organization in the balance of the loan of the fund, in order to utilize that equity, the fund itself or with any other organization will operate the organization or a new organization.
