(1) The conditions to be followed and the criteria to be fulfilled while constructing the quarantine place will be as follows:-
(a) Should have a land area of ​​at least 6500 square meters,
(b) It should be at least 500 (five hundred) meters away from the animal rearing area, animal farm, animal slaughterhouse, animal haat market and the place where the direct movement of animals occurs. (c) Fences should be arranged so that the animals kept in quarantine cannot come into contact with outside animals,
(d) There should be separate places for keeping animals of different breeds and animals entering different consignments,
(e) There should be adequate drinking water, lighting, ventilation and drainage arrangements for animals,
(f) There should be another inner door after the main door for animals to enter and leave (g) There should be a place to keep the necessary grain, water, grass straw, etc.,
(h) There should be provision of a platform for boarding and disembarking animals from the means of transport,
(h) The floor should be constructed in such a way that it can be easily cleaned, disinfected and kept dry,
(j) There should be a separate and adequate place for keeping animals, animal products or animal products,
(k) If there are items to be kept in cold storage, arrangements should be made to keep such items (l) adequate space for decontamination and suitable space for keeping the chemicals and materials used for the same, and
(D) There should be an arrangement of skilled employees of related subjects.
(2) No work other than quarantine related work can be done inside the quarantine place.
