If someone suffers financial loss due to the quality of the seeds sold and distributed by someone and due to wrong information, the concerned party shall compensate the farmer based on the evaluation and recommendation made by the evaluation committee.
(2) There shall be an assessment committee as follows to assess the damages as per sub-rule (1):-
(a) Center Head – Coordinator
(b) Office Senior Agricultural Development Officer – Member
(c) Scientist – member of Nepal Agricultural Research Council (d) One member appointed by the committee from among National Seed Company Limited or Nepal Seed Traders Association (e) concerned village development committee/municipality or its representative – member
