Rule 7
<br> to prepare a procurement master plan
A public body shall prepare a procurement master plan when purchasing for a plan or project that will operate for a period of more than one year or when purchasing an amount exceeding ten million rupees annually.
(2) In addition to other things, the following things should be mentioned in the master plan of procurement as per sub-rule (1):-
(a) Type, quantity and roughly estimated value of the procurement,
(b) Procurement Method,
(c) Provisions regarding whether procurement is to be bundled or packaged for maximum competition,
(d) the approximate number of contracts to be entered into for the completion of the overall procurement operation and the main main work related to such procurement operation,
(e) Matters related to pre-qualification if necessary for procurement (f) Rough time schedule of the procurement process,
(G) Matters determined from time to time to be included in the master plan of procurement by the Public Procurement Monitoring Office.
(3) The procurement master plan prepared in accordance with this rule has been approved by the secretary of the related body in the case of the public body in the case of sub-section (1) of clause (b) of section 2 of the Act and in the case of other public body by the official who is provided in the procurement rules or regulations of the related public body.
