Rule 6
Account opening approval required
(1) In order to conduct government business in the district, approval will be given to open a bank account of the Government Addakhana (S/A) group in the name of the withdrawal office only in the designated bank according to sub-rule (1) of Rule 9.
(2) If a bank account is to be opened in a district other than the one for special purpose or in a special situation, or a bank account belonging to a group other than the government shelter (s/a) group, or in a bank that is not licensed to conduct government transactions, the approval of the Comptroller General's Office shall be obtained.
