(1) The Department of Food Technology and Quality Control will do the following:-
(a) Analyzing the sample of food sent for examination by the officer hearing the case under the Act or the court hearing the appeal and sending the analysis report to him,
(b) To submit a report to the Food Standardization Committee for the purpose of determining the standard of any food item after conducting research and investigation,
(c) Arranging the training of food inspectors in relation to inspecting, testing, and analyzing food and giving certificates to those who succeed in the training.
(2) The duty of giving the report as written in sub-rule (1) shall be the head of the Food Technology and Quality Control Department.
