Unless the subject or subject has another meaning in this regulation-
(a) “Act” means the Food Act, 2023.
(b) "Label" means any description or indication written, printed or affixed to the goods or cover of any substance placed for sale or transported.
(c) "Food inspector" means a person appointed or authorized to inspect food items in accordance with this regulation.
(d) "Local District Officer" means Chief District Officer.
(e) "Department" means Food Technology and Quality Control Department (f) "Director General" means the Director General of the Department.
