Rule 29
Search and seizure

(1) An investigating officer or an investigating officer shall conduct body searches and vehicle searches in accordance with Schedule-4 in the context of investigation or investigation of complaints or offences.
(2) In the course of investigating or investigating a crime, when entering someone's home compound, place of business and searching the premises, if any goods are seized or taken into custody, the bond as per Schedule-5 shall be paid.
(3) If the cash, goods or any other goods recovered during the search according to sub-rule (1) have to be taken with them, the investigating officer or the investigation officer shall prepare a compensation for such goods and prepare compensation for such goods, if it is an organization, and if it is any other person, the owner of the house or the owner of the goods or the person in charge of the goods. should be given and if he is not found or if he refuses to pay compensation even if he is found, such compensation should be entrusted to the representative of the rural municipality or municipality.
(4) If the representative of the municipality or the municipality as per sub-rule (3) is not found, such compensation shall be deposited at the place of seizure and the same shall be mentioned in the seizure bond.
(5) After submitting the compensation according to sub-rule (4), the concerned person shall be deemed to have duly accepted the compensation.
