(1) If a person is to be arrested in connection with the investigation of any offense under this Act, the investigating officer shall submit an application to the investigating officer for permission to arrest, along with the reason and details of the identity of such person.< /p>

(2) If there is reason for arrest based on the application under sub-section (1), the officer handling the case may grant permission to issue an arrest warrant.

(3) Issuance of an arrest warrant as per sub-section (2) The person shall be arrested by the police and brought before the investigating officer within twenty-four hours, excluding the time limit for the journey. or any place of storage" or any railway line or any airport or any freight carrier or if there is a possibility of explosion or fire in its vicinity, the person occupying the said place or his representative or any other person authorized by him or the owner or employee of public transport or Any employee of the railway administration or the airport shall make arrangements to prevent such person from escaping and inform the police.

(5) Notwithstanding anything written in sub-section (1), if there is a situation as per sub-section (4) or such person shall be arrested immediately. If it is not done, the police may arrest such a person without a warrant, and if there is a reason why such a person may run away, escape, or destroy evidence, evidence, or evidence, the arrested person shall be brought before the officer who hears the case within twenty-four hours, excluding the time limit of the warrant.
