Section 29
Arrest and Detention
:
(1) An armed police officer accused of any offense under paragraph-5 may be arrested and detained by the order of an armed police officer of any rank above him.
(2) Such armed police shall be disarmed before being detained in accordance with sub-section (1).
(3) In case of arrest and detention according to sub-section (1), the information thereof shall be given as soon as possible to the head of the agency where the accused is employed and the Inspector General of Armed Police.
