(1) According to sub-section (3) of section 54, such driver's license should be renewed within three months after the expiry date written on the driver's license.
(2) The driver must attach the prescribed fee and submit it to the authorized officer within the period specified in sub-section (1).
(3) If a driver's license is submitted for renewal according to sub-section (2), the authorized officer must renew such driver's license for another five years.
(4) In addition to the renewal fee, drivers who come to renew their driver's license after the expiration date according to sub-section (1) will be charged an additional fee of one hundred percent for one year, two hundred percent for two years, three hundred percent for three years, four hundred percent for four years and five hundred percent for five years. Such driver's license should be renewed.
