Section 62
Issuance of copy of driver's license

(1) If the driver's license is lost, torn, falsified, incomprehensible or destroyed for any reason, the driver must submit an application to the relevant authorized officer for a copy of the driver's license in the prescribed format along with the prescribed fee.
(2) The authorized officer shall give a copy of the driver's license to the driver after conducting necessary investigation on the application as per sub-section (1). (3) In accordance with sub-section (2), the authorized officer shall give the notification that the copy of the driver's license has been issued to the concerned police office.
