Section 16
Obligation of the Bank Paying the Check
If the check is duly presented in the case of sufficient deposit of the drawer, the bank shall pay the check. If there is any loss or damage to the drawer or holder of such check due to non-payment of such cheque, the bank shall also compensate the same in accordance with this Act.
