(1) Individuals with non-resident Nepali citizenship or other foreigners who have resided for more than a specified period may be issued a separate identity card of a temporary nature for a specified period in the prescribed format. (2) According to sub-section (1), when issuing an identity card to another foreigner, in the case of a foreigner who has a diplomatic mission in Nepal, the recommendation of the relevant diplomatic mission will also be considered as a basis.
(3) Other arrangements related to issuing, renewing, using and canceling the identity card as per sub-section (1) shall be as prescribed.
