Rule 7
Land Auctioneer

(1) In accordance with sub-section (1) of Section 16 of the Act, when the Land Office auctions the remaining land, the representative of the District Office shall be the witness for the auction sale.
(2) The auctioneer shall deposit the amount pledged immediately and if he is unable to deposit the amount, he shall deposit one hundred and ten bonds of the amount pledged and deposit the remaining amount within three days. If the remaining amount is not deposited within three days, the deposit will be forfeited and the ownership of such land will be transferred to the Government of Nepal.
(3) The final right to approve or cancel the auction sale shall be vested in the Government of Nepal (4) After the auction sale is approved, the Land Registry Office shall cancel the filing of such land within fifty five days in the name of the realtor. If there is a land that has been encroached upon, the land office will have to inform the encroachment as well.
(5) If the auction sale is cancelled, the shipping office shall notify the seller within thirty-five days.
