5. Herb Farming Medicine Production and Business

5.1. By developing model herbal gardens in the Himalayas and the Terai, the quality trade of herbs will be encouraged by imparting knowledge about the use, production, cultivation, protection and promotion of herbs in home remedies.

5.2. Coordination will be established with government and non-government organizations related to herbs to maintain quality in domestic trade and foreign imports by introducing the right herbs.

5.3. Government and non-government sector Ayurveda medicine manufacturing companies established or established in the country will be encouraged to manufacture quality medicines based on good medicine manufacturing code and export will be promoted while reducing imports. For that work, coordination will be established with the Department of Drug Administration and related government agencies.

5.4. An Ayurvedic medicine testing committee and laboratory will be developed for the quality and other technical work of Ayurvedic medicines imported from abroad or manufactured in the country.

5.5. Nepal Ayurveda Veshjayavali will be compiled and published at the same time.
