2. Purpose

The specificity of Ayurveda medicine, which has been treating health and disease since time immemorial, is timely to fulfill the purpose reflected in the National Health Policy, 2048. The main objective of this policy is to increase the health level of the majority of the people and make them self-reliant in health services by increasing the use of local herbs and medicines that can be easily and continuously used.
