<br> equal to the liability of the surety persons
If two or more persons jointly or severally give joint surety for any debt or liability, if the debtor fails to fulfill such debt or liability, unless otherwise stipulated in the contract, the persons giving surety shall equally pay such debt or liability or fulfill the contract.
(2) According to sub-section (1) when bail is given jointly, if the bail is given in sections, the person giving such surety shall bear the liability to the extent of the section he/she has given bail.
