(1) The Government of Nepal may take necessary measures for the protection of any structures related to the use of water resources at the request of a person who has received a permit or if it considers it necessary to protect such a structure in its own opinion.
(2) In case security arrangements are made at the request of the permit holder as per sub-section (1), the permit holder shall bear all the expenses incurred for the same.
