Rule 4
To be informed

(1) A member who has been nominated in accordance with Clause (j) of Section 3 of the Act shall inform the office of the following details through the member-secretary within the first meeting he attends or within fifteen days of his nomination, whichever is earlier:-
(a) whether or not he or any member of his immediate family is a party to any contract with the Board relating to lease or public procurement, and details of the same, if any; (b) Whether or not he or any member of his family is a director or basic shareholder or agent of a partner company in any foreign investment in Nepal and details of the same, if any,
(c) Whether or not he or any member of his immediate family has a share or share in the investment of the project as per section 9 of the Act and details of the same if any.
(2) According to sub-rule (1), the matter informed by the member should be brought to the notice of the board and after the board receives the information, it will be kept in an envelope and sealed.
(3) According to sub-rule (2), the details shall not be made public unless a question arises in the board or according to the order of the court.
