Intelligence Commission Act, 2026,-
(1) In place of sub-section (1) of section 3, the following sub-section (1) has been inserted:- "(1) The Government of Nepal in any work mentioned in the restrictive phrase of sub-section (1) of Article 106 of the Interim Constitution of Nepal, 2063, the Judicial Councils" After consulting the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court or a judge and in any case mentioned in the restrictive clause of Article 110, the appeal and the judge of the district court may be constituted. Such commission may consist of only judges or other persons and if there is more than one member, the judge appointed by the government of Nepal will be the chairman of the commission. (2) In place of sub-section (2) of section 4, the following sub-section (2) has been placed:- "(2) Within the period specified in the notification regarding the formation of the commission, the commission shall complete the investigation and submit a report with its opinion to the Government of Nepal."
(3) The word "Adhirajya" in "Thau" has been deleted.
