: Since it is desirable to amend some Nepali laws to maintain the reference to the republican system by ending the reference to the monarchy in the current law and to make timely improvements in some other matters, the Constituent Assembly has made this Act in accordance with the clause (1) of Article 83 of the Interim Constitution of Nepal, 2063.
