Rule 16
Duties, Duties and Powers of the District Attorney
The duties, duties and powers of the District Attorney of the District Public Prosecutor's Office under this regulation shall be as follows:-
(a) In cases within the schedule of the Act or in cases in which the Government of Nepal is a plaintiff, the police or the authorized officer shall investigate and investigate and decide whether or not to proceed with the case as delegated by the Attorney General in the case of missiles that have come for necessary action.
(b) To appear before the court and plead arguments in cases within the schedule of the Act and cases in which the Government of Nepal is a plaintiff,
(c) To appear in Adda Court on behalf of the Government of Nepal or the employees of the Government of Nepal in any other case concerning the Government of Nepal and plead the case,
(d) To carry out the powers of the head of the office according to the prevailing law and other duties prescribed to be done by the district attorney,
(e) To give opinion on any legal question asked by any government office located in the district or the head of that office,
(f) The powers vested in the District Attorney in accordance with this regulation may be exercised by the Assistant District Attorney under his direction.
