Rule 15
Provisions relating to the export of hazardous substances
(1) According to sub-section (3) of Section 16 of the Act, the exporter shall obtain permission from the Ministry for the export of hazardous substances from Nepal and for that he shall also submit the consent of the relevant authorities of the country importing such substances.
(2) In accordance with sub-rule (1), when exporting hazardous substances from Nepal, the provisions mentioned in the Basel Convention on Transboundary Transportation, Control and Disposal of Hazardous Waste shall be followed.
