(1) The head of each public agency that has to arrange rations shall, according to the approved ration rates for his agency, publish the consumer price list of the relevant area within the middle of each year by Nepal Rashtra Baid, the price list published by the government agency that determines the price of agricultural produce, road facilities, local market If any guidelines have been issued by the Rate and Public Procurement Monitoring Office, the cost estimate should be prepared based on such guidelines.
(2) The cost estimate prepared as per sub-rule (1) shall be submitted to the following committee for approval:-
(a) Chief District Officer "Chairman (b) Chief, Treasury and Accounts Controller's Office or authorized representative of that office - Member (c) Chief, District Agricultural Development Office - Member (d) Representative, District Industry and Commerce Association - Member (e) Head-Member-Secretary (3) of the public body that has to arrange rations, the committee as per sub-rule (2) while approving the cost estimate in accordance with this rule shall approve the matter mentioned in sub-rule (1) in the format as per Schedule-6.
(4) The public body shall send the information that the cost estimate has been approved in accordance with sub-rule (3) to the taluk office, regional administration office and public procurement monitoring office within seven days.
