:
(1) An aircraft manufacturer or an airline operator who wishes to obtain recognition of a type certificate issued in relation to an aircraft by a member country of the International Civil Aviation Organization or a person or organization authorized by such country shall disclose the necessary details in the format mentioned in the annexes and manuals mentioned in Schedule-1. The application should be submitted to the Director General with the fee attached.
(2) The design certificate of such aircraft should also be attached when making an application as per sub-rule (1).
(3) After the application is made in accordance with sub-rule (1), the Director General shall, after conducting the necessary examination, approve the type certificate of such aircraft in the format mentioned in the Annex and Manual.
(4) The recognition given in accordance with sub-rule (3) shall be an integral part of the relevant type certificate.
(5) According to sub-rule (3), other procedures related to giving shall be as mentioned in the annex and manual.
