(1) The body designated by the Government of Nepal for the purpose of providing public services may use the data and details in the department as per the need to maintain the personal privacy of the individual.
(2) In order to preserve the personal privacy of individuals, government agencies and organizations wholly owned by the Government of Nepal may be allowed to use the data and details in the department as prescribed.
(3) In accordance with the existing law, the agency providing services to the citizens may be given controlled access to the data in the department for the purpose of verifying the details of the concerned person.
(4) The limits to which other bodies may have access to the data and details collected and stored in accordance with this Act, or to which such data or details may be used by other bodies shall be as prescribed by the Government of Nepal without prejudice to Section 33.
