(1) If any government office, government-owned or government-aided organization or foreign person or organization wants to collect information, news or data on any economic matter for commercial purposes, it must obtain approval from the Central Statistics Department.

< p>(2) A person or organization who wants to obtain approval for the purpose of collecting data in accordance with sub-section (1) must submit to the Central Statistics Department a detailed description of the system or program to be adopted in the area where the data is to be collected.

(3) If it is deemed necessary to collect the data as per sub-section (1), the Central Statistics Department will give approval and while giving such approval, the department may specify the system to be adopted while collecting the data and other conditions deemed necessary.
