No detainee or prisoner shall be made to do any work against his will, except as otherwise written in the current Nepalese laws. However, the Government of Nepal may arrange for any detainee or prisoner to be engaged in any work if it deems it necessary for the health, economic advancement or improvement of the detainee and prisoner.
