(1) A person who commits an act contrary to Section 3 or Section 4 shall be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to five years or with a fine which may extend to fifty thousand rupees or with both. (2) Except as provided in sub-section (1), a person who violates this Act or any other rule or order made under this Act shall be fined up to ten thousand rupees.
