(1) The Government of Nepal shall establish a registered office named Safe Transaction Registration Office to register the information in accordance with this Act. (2) Until such time as the registration office is established in accordance with sub-section (1), the Government of Nepal may appoint any office to register the information in accordance with this Act. (3) In order to manage the operations of the registration office, the Government of Nepal may appoint or designate at least a gazetted employee of the second class or above as registrar. (4) The registrar appointed or designated in accordance with sub-section (3) shall fulfill the duties and duties prescribed in accordance with this Act.
