(1) A foreign citizen physician shall submit an application to have his name registered in the registration book in the format prescribed by the Council in order to practice medicine in any hospital or medical college within Nepal for a certain period.
(2) When submitting an application according to sub-rule (1), a foreign national doctor must have a passport and entry permit, and if he is a foreign national doctor from a country that does not require a passport and entry permit, a copy of the identity card issued by a government agency, certified by a doctor designated by the council as a member of the council or a permanently registered physician, should be attached to the application. Will have to do.
(3) A certificate of good medical conduct obtained by the foreign citizen doctor from the medical or dental council or similar professional council of the country where he is working and the head of the hospital or medical college in which he wants to work and the government of Nepal. The copy of the letter of recommendation issued for the registration of his/her name stating the reasons, period etc. for working in the college and a copy of the letter of recommendation certified by a doctor designated by the council as a member of the council or a permanent registered doctor must also be attached. However, in the case of hospitals or medical colleges that have entered into a written agreement with the Government of Nepal or have received consent from the Government of Nepal to engage foreign national doctors in the medical business, a separate recommendation letter from the Government of Nepal is not required to be submitted for the duration of such agreement or for the duration of such agreement. (4) The name of a foreign national doctor will be registered for a maximum of one year only. But if the council deems it necessary, it can renew the registration once not exceeding one year.
(5) The name of the foreign citizen doctor will be registered in the registration book as specified in Schedule-8.
(6) Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-rule (3), if the period of service of a registered foreign national doctor in a hospital or medical college in which he is employed ends or if he leaves the said hospital or medical collegeIf he/she stops working in the law college, his/her name will automatically be considered to be cancelled.
(7) Name registration and renewal of registration of foreign national doctors shall be as prescribed in Schedule-9.
(8) If the name of a foreign national physician has been registered before the commencement of this regulation, it shall automatically be considered as having been registered according to this regulation.
(9) Other provisions related to the registration of the name of a foreign national physician shall be as prescribed by the Council.
