Section 12
Cancellation of Party Registration

(1) If a party wants to cancel the registration of its party, it has to make an application to the Commission after making a decision by the Central Committee in accordance with the law.
(2) If the application as per sub-section (1) is received, the commission shall cancel the registration of such party after studying and investigating as prescribed.
(3) The party shall comply with clauses (a), (b), (c), (d), (e), (f), (g), (j), (j), (j), (t) of section 21. ) or (l) the commission may revoke the registration of such a party.
(4) Before canceling the registration of a party in accordance with sub-section (3), the Commission shall give such party a reasonable opportunity to present its explanation.
(5) If the clarification is not submitted as per sub-section (4) or if the clarification submitted is not satisfactory, the Commission shall decide to cancel the registration of such party and publish the notification in the Nepal Gazette.
(6) The name, flag and symbol of the party whose registration has been canceled in accordance with this section shall not be given to any other party for one year from the date of the decision in accordance with sub-section (5).
(7) The property of a party which has been terminated pursuant to this section shall belong to the Government of Nepal, unless otherwise stated in the constitution of such party.
