Section 239
Procedure for Filing, Cancellation, Nomination
(1) In the course of filing, canceling, or renaming according to the judgment, if the party who takes such action remains on the date according to section 235, the court shall send the written statement of the transaction in the name of the office of filing, revocation, or renaming for the purpose of executing the judgment to the party to appear at the same office within twenty one days.
(2) In case of written submission from the court according to sub-section (1) and if the concerned party appears in the office, such office shall also file, cancel, name transfer within three days according to the judgment.
(3) If a party appears at the relevant office for filing, cancellation, or name change after the deadline as per sub-section (1) has passed, such office shall charge a fee of five hundred rupees for each year and file, cancel, or name change according to the judgment.
