According to section 55, if there is an application to the court to initiate action related to marriage, the court shall issue an order regarding whether or not it is appropriate to initiate action in that regard.
(2) Upon ordering the commencement of proceedings related to damasahi in accordance with sub-section (1), the court shall, at the request of the person who is subject to damasahi or any other member of his family at the request of the creditor, order to keep the property of such person as it is for the purpose of damasahi. .
(3) If the court feels that the property of a person who is about to be married may be embezzled or cannot be properly managed when it is managed by such a person or his family member, it may assign the responsibility of managing such property to any of the following persons on the basis of the party's application or by the court's own recommendation:-
(a) A person licensed as a groomer in accordance with the law,
(b) Damasahi Trustee appointed in accordance with law,
(c) The concerned ward committee of the local level,
(d) any authorized employee of the court or legal practitioner appointed by the court.
(4) The local level, trustee or person designated according to sub-section (3) shall manage the property of the person who is about to be married according to the order of the court.
