(1) In relation to the counting of votes in an election held under the proportional election system before the counting of votes in a polling station is completed or before the counting of ballots has been sealed, any candidate or his/her The election representative or the counting representative can immediately submit a written request to the election officer with reasons for re-counting some or all of the ballots.
(2) If an application is received according to sub-section (1), the election officer may immediately register the application and repeat the counting if it appears necessary to repeat the counting.
(3) If it is not necessary to count the votes twice according to sub-section (2), the election officer shall make a decision on the matter and give notice of such decision to the relevant candidate, election representative or counting representative present at such place before announcing the election result.
