In the following cases, the bond amount must be deposited in the local body:-
(a) To pay the amount due to the local body in advance,
(b) to submit the bid or to deposit the amount prescribed by the local body for participating in the auction,
(c) If there is a provision in accordance with this regulation or prevailing law that an amount must be deposited in advance before any work is done, to fulfill such condition,
(d) To pay such amount if a bond is required for any other reason.
