(1) Notwithstanding anything written elsewhere in this paragraph, in the case that a map must be passed in accordance with the law in force immediately before the commencement of this Act, in the case of a building constructed without passing the map or by altering the passed map without approval, if the standards and codes related to building construction are complied with, the municipality shall implement this Act. After the commencement, the approval may be given to pass the map or change the passed map by making the following arrangements for one time:-
(a) publishing a public notice to the concerned person for filing an application with evidence within thirty-five days,
(b) If the application is received within the period mentioned in clause (a), to verify whether the standards and codes related to building construction have been followed by conducting a technical examination on site and in consultation with the Sandh Sadhiyar. (d) If it is confirmed that the standards and codes related to building construction have been met, a fee of three times the fee required for passing the map or modifying the approved map will be charged.
(2) Notwithstanding anything written in sub-section (1), the provision shall not apply in the case of apartments, housing, hotels and other commercial buildings.
