Rule 119
<br> which can be kept in cash balance
Central level offices may keep a cash balance of up to twenty five thousand rupees and other offices up to fifteen thousand rupees in the name of an employee for minor expenses incurred by the office. You will have to submit a bill for the amount spent and get admission. The remaining cash balance should be deposited in the bank within 25th of Ashadha of each year.
(2) If the work is not carried out from the balance mentioned in sub-rule (1), the extent of keeping cash balance can be increased with the approval of the Comptroller General's Office.
