(1) The department or the relevant concerned body shall determine the status of pollution and garbage that is emitted or discharged from any industry, factory, device, mechanical equipment, etc.
(2) For the purpose of sub-rule (1), the department or the relevant concerned body shall collect samples of pollution and waste from such industries, factories, machines, mechanical devices, etc.
(3) The department or related concerned body shall make arrangements to test the sample collected in accordance with sub-rule (2) by the laboratory as per sub-rule (1) of rule 17 or the laboratory designated as per sub-section (1) of section 18 of the Act.
(4) After the sample is tested according to sub-rule (3), the department or the relevant concerned body shall update the result after analyzing it.
