The inspector shall destroy any plant, plant product, biological control agent, beneficial insect or other item if it cannot be treated or for any other reason such item must be destroyed in accordance with the Act and this regulation, and destroy it by completing the following procedure:-
(a) Keep the item to be destroyed separately so as not to cause other infections,
(b) considering the nature and quantity of the items kept according to clause (a), if they have to be buried, use the necessary chemicals and if they have to be burned, arrange a suitable place,
(c) According to Clause (b), the item to be buried or the ashes after burning shall be kept in the pit and filled with soil.
